All the stall keepers and vendors including people roaming around ran away because of the storm and the area became dead silent just the sound of the storms wear all over but this guy remain standing tall throwing his red tie and black leather office bag on the other side of the barricade and 2 top knots wear unbuttoned in his white formal shirts.
He was about to jump into that lake when suddenly someone from the back thrown a wafer to his back side of head, he turned back and saw a toddler, wearing a orange color dirty lehenga chunni having number of little mirror cubes on the lehenga, holding 2 steal carry bags and started putting those on floor.

"Yes enough of this, if someone comes here asking about me after several days has passed tell them you saw me jumping into this lake tell them i attempted suicide" he replied
"what is suicide, is it a type of Paani Poori...Is it as spicy as Paani Poori" she asked putting her small arms onto her abdominal sides making a gesture.
Sidharth Smiled and asked " Paani Poori is your favorite dish or what"
" Yes mister, its my favorite favorite world favorite dish... i love paani poori more than my sister loves it, if she loves 7 out of 10 then i love 9 out of 10 twice ahead of her always" she replied
"whats there in your bags? Sidharth Asked
"Its Paani Poori, my daddy makes it everyday and every evening tells me to take the remaining paani poori home, now look what you did, because of you i have to waste 8 pooris to just warn you not to take bath in that lake" she replied
" But you only thrown a single poori how come its eight, you lair" Sidharth said smilingly
" I was trying my best to make these pooris reach to your head but you have great height so i failed till 7th attempt and finally the 8th one touched your head, hahahahahahahahaha"  she replied
"Can i have those paani pooris? Sidharth asked as he changed his mind of suicide and was enjoying the moment with the storm on the background.
"Yes, but i will not give more than 2 paani pooris, you will eat 2 and i will eat 5" she replied tilting her sweet face
"Hahahahahahaha Yes no problem, by the way what is your name?" He asked and started pressing her soft nose from his two fingers
"Ahh!! Puchki is my name" she replied
"Its a bengoli word for paani poori, wow your parents love you so much that they gave you this name... interesting hahahahahahah" He replied
"So are we become friends now right" she asked
" How come? he asked
"Yes my mother told me if anyone asks your name and presses your nose at the same time they are friends not enemies" she replied
"Yes obviously we are friends" Sidharth Replied
"Can i call you my teddy bear" she asked
"Listen my name is Sidharth, and you can call me big brother or just brother, i am no teddy bear... Bears are fat, do i look fat to you" He replied with a constant smile on his face
"But why!!! i have many friends but i don't have any teddy bears, i saw my friends playing with their teddy bears but my daddy didn't bought me any teddy bears... please you become my teddy bear so that i can tell my friends that i too got a teddy bear" she replied
"Stop talking while eating, first eat then i will decide" He replied

They sat on a public seat near the barricade As they wear eating the first drop of rain fall from the sky on Puchki's head as she started seeing the sky and the second rain drop too fell but this time on her forehead.

Chapter 2

The Rains of Monsoon

The weather was of clear monsoon and was raining all day all night.

Failure in and Failure out, Sidharth was struggling everyday. The unemployment pain was making him weak day after day and he was giving up hopes day by day.
Roaming from morning to evening with the pain in his eyes and tiredness in his face, facing rejection from every company.
One day he was passing by the streets near the lake, as he saw Puchki was washing plates in a Paani Poori Stall.
"Hey Puchki" He said loudly
As she turned her face her mouth wide opened and she dropped all the plates on floor and ran to him and hugged him, as she was short she only hold him till his knees.
"why are you washing plates? he asked
"This is my daddy's stall and he promised me if i wash all the plates daily then he will give me as much paani poori as i want to eat" she replied
Sidharth then checked his wallet, he was only having 20 rupees for the day and ordered a plate of Paani Poori, then he made her sat on his laps and offered her the plate to eat.
"Hey Scoundrel!! plates are still unwashed, you want unlimited paani poori or just that plate" Her father yelled at her
She firstly stared Sidharth's face and then keeping her heads down, moved down to ground from his laps and went to wash plates.
Sidharth didn't uttered a word as he himself got no jobs but her father at least owns a shop, he then kept the plate on that chair and went away seeing her washing the plates.
But as they say, no one knows when and for whom fate turns overnight, just the next day Sidharth got placed in a company with a very high package as he got so experienced after so many losses, he just ran to that very shop where Puchki works and thought to buy her unlimited Paani Poori this time as a celebration treat.
As he reached he saw she was packing bags and was going somewhere with her father, the shop was closed too.
He stopped them and asked where they up to?
"Hi teddy bear.. going to my uncle's home" she replied
" You know we can eat unlimited paani poori today. i got new job" he replied
"Job!! what is job? is it a Jalebi" she asked
"You go to school right, it is just a school" he replied
"ohh... so in which standard you are in? she asked
"I am in standard 27" he replied
"My god schools have these many classes, i didn't knew" she replied

"Listen brother we are getting late now" her father said
"ok ok sorry.. you may leave" sidharth replied
"Bye" she yelled shaking her hands
"Now i will eat all paani pooris until you come" sidharth said by mocking her
"Nooo you cant do this.. good teddy bears always share their food with friends" she yelled as her father was taking her away holding her little fingers.

And here
Sidharth Decided not to eat paani poori until she returns back.

Chapter 3

The Last Rain of the Year

Days have passed, He kept waiting and missing her and then after many days of waiting finally he gives up and he goes very busy on his daily schedule.

Strangers in life are like this, you always meet them and then they go one day and you get busy with you life and once in a year or decade when you are sitting alone somewhere then your mind just clicks on that very small segment of your life and suddenly all you remember is that stranger.
Sidharth Got so busy with corporate life style that he totally forgot Puchki even exist...

I can end this story here with this sweet moments and with the final quote of this very story given above.
But lets end this in more dramatic way.

One day Sidharth and his new girlfriend wear roaming near the passage of that very lake and they reached that same spot where the shop of paani poori was installed.
He saw the shop keeper was selling paani pooris and he leaned inside, he saw the shop keeper was her very dad.
He was so happy to see him and asked about Puchki, as the man saw him and replied "if you want paani poori then tell or else mind your own business"

He tilted his face and saw there was some other girl was washing plates but her age was same as Puchki and her face too resembles mostly to Puchki.
His father went for washroom and that girl who was washing plates, approached Sidharth and said "2 months earlier after returning from my uncle's home Puchki was as usual washing the plates and took her steal bag with her and was going home crossing the passage near the lake and i don't know what happened only god knows after that she went missing, mom told me that she fell down to lake as she slips towards the ground because of constant rains making the floor slippery, her little feet didn't gripped well on that slippery floor and people said they heard no noise of screaming as there was loud noises of storm, moreover no newspaper spotlighted this news as there wear no evidence of it" the girl replied as her eyes were numb.
